Windows Server 2003 x64 Compatibility?

JboguthJboguth
I am running version 7.10.01 on Windows Server 2003 but when I try to get the health status of my Windows Server 2003 x64 machine it says the following - "Error: Windows scanning could not be performed. Connection denied to 192.168.0.4 . Make sure that the username and password are correct.

Is it not compatible with x64?

Any thoughts?

Josh

Probably the credentials under which the ServersCheck Monitoring service runs does not have admin rights on the Windows 2003 x64 system.

    See following knowledge base article:

    Any other thoughts?

There is a difference with the credentials defined in the web interface and the credentials under which the service is running.

In this case this would the ServersCheck Webserver service since scanning is performed by that component.

I have tried both accounts multiple times, there are no other credentials to try. The other 3 servers connected just fine but this one will not no matter what credentials I use..

Is the Windows 2003 server a domain controller? If so, then following Microsoft knowledge base article applies:

    Ok, I got it.

    Thank you for your help!
