failover.conf
We recently installed the failover agent and are running into a problem:
The failover agent needs the failover.conf file in the ServersCheck_Monitoring directory or it won't start. Once the failover detects the monitoring in the primary instance is down, it:
1. Starts the monitoring service in the secondary instance
2. Moves the failover.conf file into the conf directory (ServersCheck_Monitoring/conf)
3. Terminates
It is not possible to restart the failover agent, as the failover.conf file is no longer where it needs it to be. So, we have to copy it back into the ServerCheck_Monitoring directory in order to be able to restart the agent.
Shouldn't the failover agent look for this file always in the conf directory?
