Password change

hi everyone, is there a way to change the username and password for all items that i in servers check?

    In release 7.8.x all Windows usernames and passwords are managed separately and by just updating the credentials all rules linked to those credentials will use the new login data.

    I've got 7.1.5 installed right now. How would i change those besides going into each rule and changing it there?

    Before 7.8 a manual update of the rules was the only supported solution.

    can i go in the serverscheck.conf file and edit the username and password in there? will that work?

    that should work but make a backup before that.
