memory

Hi all,



As a new user I run the latest version of Servercheck Sensor+ edition 7.8.6 (18-12-2007)

It is the only app that runs on this PC with 512 Mb memory...so it is dedicated to servercheck.

After about 24 hours the PC runs out of memory and after several hours the virt. memory files grows near 2Gb (!)...

There are only 2 rules: A temperature sensor and a

windowhealth of the pc itself (it is still in test mode)...

We have a licence so it is not in demo...

What could be the problem here?

What component takes the 2GB ?



Sensor+ Edition is for monitoring sensors only and not for any of the other rules. Make sure to only use it for that and not perform Windowshealth checks on it.



Make sure that there is antivirus software or similar running on the PC. We know from past user reports that they sometimes affect the performance of the monitoring system.



Also as a side note, 7.8.7 is the latest release.

Unfortunatly...

On second christmas day I checked the environment and find out that the PC runnung Serverscheck was again out of memory...

So after all... it was not the solution...



The only rule running is the temperature sensor...

There is no other software on this PC (dedicated tot Serverscheck)...

Any other solutions?
