an snmptrap alert causes a "down" status when viewing the device view dashboard even though the alert is not in the down state.

    Does the rule have a status? There is a known issue where in some views a newly checked rule has by default a DOWN status instead of OK before the first check is performed.

    The rule only shows a down status with a red X. When the rule has not been met it does not show a green check mark like a ping rule persay. Its has been at least an hour since the rule was orginally created.
