event log check not checking correctly

7.6.1 the event log check isn't working correctly for some reason. I created an event log check that checks for a system event type with an error level of error and a text string of "Driver". This is a typical terminal server error when you can't map all your local printers. I run the "Test Settings" check against the local management server and it works ok using localhost user credentials. Serverscheck finds the error condition. Now i change the target host to a different server and change the user credentials to a domain admin user account. Test setting status now pulls back an OK value. I does not detect the error condition. Any ideas why?

ServersCheck only scans the 24.000 first event log entries. Probably the remote system has over 24K event log entries. Empty it before and then try again.
