Unknown Error

I am new to ServersCheck and have just installed it. When I start it I receive the following error. The error box is entitled -2147012867 and the Error box reads: Unknown Error Please Contact your software support A connect with the server could not be established.



Do anyone know what to do to fix this?

What happens when you open your browser and point it to http://localhost:1272 ?



The ServersCheck Monitoring software runs as a service and is started by default. De double click tries to launch a browser and point it to http://localhost:1272 (see help file)

I get an IE error page that says the page can not be displayed.

Run the ServersCheck Configuration service in debug mode as per knowlegde base and reply with the output it generated in the debug file:

OK so here is what I get:

Please try with the update we made for you

(Replace the original s-server.exe with the download one and repeat the steps)

Ok - that worked. What did you have to change on your end?



Now I can run that application but when it goes to scan the servers I get the error: Cannot access WMI on remote machine: OLE exception from "SWbenLocator": The RPC server is unavbailable. Win32::OLE(0.1707) error 0x800706ba: "The RPC server is unabailable" in METHOD/PROPERTYGET "ConnectServer"



Do I have to start on install a service on the remote servers?
