Can’t delete rule

Using ServersCheck 6.5.0



1) From "Dashboard - All Rules View"

2) Click the rule I want to delete which shows the "Edit Monitor Rule " page.

3) Click "Delete Rule" button and click OK in response to the alert.

4) View returns to "Dashboard - All Rules View". The rule is still listed and continues to be monitored.



Why am I unable to remove the rule?

    Unclear why but you can always remove it manually by opening the serverscheck.conf file.



    I checked it on a test computer and rule gets deleted just fine.

    Manually editing the file worked.



    Do you know of anyway we can determine why the rule couldn't be deleted?



    Would debug mode tell us more?

    I doubt it. Otherwise, if you don't mind, then copy paste here your serverscheck.conf file (replace the sensitive items with X ) and I will try it myself. Indicate what rule you want to delete.
