ENV-AIRQUALITY DATA DOES NOT DISPLAY ON V5 BASE UNITS

I had to upgrade my old CO2/VOC sensors as the values were constantly wandering to extremes.
The new ENV-AIRQUALITY sensor is what I replaced with.
This required a firmware update on the V5 base unit.
2 out of 4 of my units are working fine. The new sensors show data on the OLED, and the values are transferred to my monitoring system after the firmware upgrade.
The other 2 of my units are not working with the new sensors. The displays on these base unit only show data from the internal temperature sensor, and nothing from the ENV-AIRQUALITY sensors.
I believe that the issue is with the base units themselves as these last 2 ENV-AIRQUALITY sensors work just fine in the other 2 base units that are functioning properly.
I have done several 'factory resets', followed by the upgrade to firmware 8.5, then upgrade to 9.1, but there is still no data being captured from the ENV-AIRQUALITY sensors.
What must I do to resolve this?

A reset normally fixes the issue along with having it updated to the latest firmware. If your base units are fairly new and 2 out of 4 works and the rest does not then you may need to file for an RMA but if your base units are old (like I think 2015 or below) then new sensors will not work.
