Ping sensor SNMP trap not sending

Hello!
Weird problem here. The internal ping sensor is not sending SNMP traps when triggered. I have tested this by:
1. Confirming traps from other connected sensors are working (they are)
2. Manually triggering the ping sensor alert by pinging a network device, manually disconnecting it, and checking the alert shows on the alert history (it does)
3. All the while watching the log of my SNMP trap listener. The traps from all alerts show up, except the ping sensor trap does not
It either feels like a bug or I'm missing something obvious... really appreciate any pointers!
