Issues with Simultaneous Modbus Connections
We are currently attempting to connect up two existing redundant Kepware servers that poll a new sensor using Modbus. These servers poll multiple devices (UPS, PLCs, etc) using Modbus TCP, as well as other protocols, simultaneously. This also for immediate fail over of a failed communication path.
The problem we are experiencing with the ServersCheck sensor is that once a connection is established on one Kepware server (A) to the sensor, the redundant Kepware server (B) can not establish its own connection to that same sensor. Not until the connection on A is terminated (data collection disabled) can the connection on B be established.

For multiple modbus/IP connections, you would need to use a modbus gateway to access from multiple connections.
