Hi,

I've a problem to monitor the servers performance.

I've installed the latest windowsagent on the server to be monitored, and the service is running

but no data is received by Serverscheck monitoring software

It only works if I manullay start on the server the application udp-server.exe

then I start to receive performance data from the server

Is that normal?

The application version is 14.2.2

    Antonio, as per your first screen shot: the service is NOT running and as such no data is received by the agent.

    Ops... you were right, I've activated the service now

    but it still doesn't work, no data are collected by ServersCheck.

    make sure your Windows firewall allows connectivity over port 30711 via UDP

    The Firewall is disabled, it seems that the UDP server does not start up with the service, in fact if I manually start the UDP-Server.exe application then I start to receive the data from the server.

    When the service is started, then do you see in your Windows task manager the udp-server.exe executable running?

    No, I can only see windowsagent-service.exe*32

    It seems that for some reason the udp-server.exe is not started by the service.

    Stop the ServersCheck Windows Agent service.
    From the command prompt start the windows-agent.exe and send error output as a reply please

    I've started windows-agent.exe as Administrator and this is the result...

    And idea how to solve the issue problem? I’m not able to monitor my servers.

    We are unable to replicate the issue. Can you verify your Windows Event Log for any entry?

    I've found this strange error when trying to execute the udp-server.exe from command window

    maybe it could help to solve my problem.

    Can you run it from the directory. So CD to the WindowsAgent subdirectory first and then type
    udp-server.exe

    could you replace the udp-server.exe with this one and see if it now works?
