pb with output dry contact with EXP-5HUB

Hi

We have 3 EXP-5HUB. We wanted to connect a 12V-DC siren to the output dry contact. The issue is that the output delivered voltage by the hub is lower than 11V which is not conform to the Hub spec.

Have you a solution ?

I have the same set up and it works for me. may I know what is the specification of your siren. Also how many devices are connected to the 12VDC supply of your Hub. as well as how do you power your Hub? is it via POE (switch) or through a Power Adapter (there should be 2 power adapters if this is the case 1 = power failure sensor built in and 1 = to power up the gateway inside the Hub) ..

alimentation PoE or 12VDC external supply same result - the output voltage without any sirene is around 11VDC so it does not a problem of the siren.

does your siren not work? I think as long as its around 11v the current will compensate with lower voltage and still power up your device.
