Configuring SMS Gateway on GSM Modem (USB)

Dear Members,
I would like to know how we can use a GSM USB modem as a SMS gateway for sending SMS alerts from Monitoring Software.
Installed the modem which I bought from ServersCheck and installed in a Windows & Professional Desktop. In the settings, while going to the SMS alerts, the only option available is the SMS Portal configuration and "None". Before, we used to have the option to select the SMS gateway through COM ports.
I downloaded the latest version of Monitoring software from the website.
Any help would be appreciated
