ServersCheck Monitoring Software 12.0.01 unable to reach local host

I have tried this software on two different PCs. One using Windows 10 and the other using Windows 7.0 professional. On each I keep getting error messages about not being able to reach the localhost.
localhost refused to connect.
Search Google for localhost 1272
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
I really need this app or something like it, and I have already paid for the SMS service, so I'd really like to get this working.
If anybody has any suggestions,
