Alert queue not clearing

We are experiencing a problem with ServersCheck 12.0.1 - alerts keep sending repeatedly.
When an alert is generated, alerts stay in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\ServersCheck_Monitoring\alerts\queue" folder and keeps sending repeatedly. If multiple alerts are generated, only the first one in the queue repeats. If an alert is removed manually, the next one will repeat.
We had suspected a bad dependency and have removed all dependencies from all rules but this did not resolve the behavior.
Any suggestions?
