new install / service will not start
Just downloaded latest version and applied my license. Whether using the included icon, from Windows Service applet or from command line the Serverscheck service will not start. Tried via local system credentials and setting to an admin account. When I run from command line here is the output:
The service is not responding to the control function.
Windows 2003 standard server with SP/1. Brand new build of server and nothing of any substance installed on it other than ServersCheck.
I deleted the default check and added a simple Ping check but can't start the monitoring service at all.
I really need to get this thing going.

A re-install did the trick.
I had an error on uninstall of NTsvc.ocx (not sure on name) or one of it's dependencies: file missing or corrupt.
When the uninstall finished and reboot completed the services still showed in services applet and the database and program file folders were still intact. I deleted the 2 folder locations and re-installed successfully.
I say all that just to shed any light for other viewers.
thanks again
Glad that the uninstall did the trick.
