alerts test

Just finished testing 3.5.0 and upgraded to 3.5.2 and bought a professional license. What happened to the alerts test? We were able to test the alerts before and now the functionality seems to be missing altogether.

    The alerts testing is still there for paging and sms but has been removed for technical reasons from the configuration server. However when running the default conf file shipped with the installation it should generate an error on the PING test. Set your parameters for this test and let it run again and you will be able to see the alerts you are getting.

    Many users have asked if there is a way to see what alerts have been generated. Yes you can by simply opening the log file in your logging subdirectory.
