File size monitoring

I configured a rule to check when a file size on a remote computer is greater than 100MB. The file address entered was:

172.17.1.38d$AIAB_DatafilesAADB_5_7_dat.mdf

error was: Error:Failed to get short file name. The file doesn't exist. Also used 172.17.1.38d$aiab_d~1aadb_5~1.mdf.

    Make sure that the file is not in use. Windows returns this error if the file is in use (it does not allow manipulation of the file by another process)

    You got it right. It is an MSSQL database file that I wanted to monitor the size. It will always be in use.

    Why don't you monitor disk space instead?
