To check a hidden share IE SERVERC$ you have to change the service acccount logon information to an admin account and cycle the service. Just fyi.

Also it appears that if you delete a monitor that has monitors below it visually that when the page returns the list is not accurate unless you refresh again. Also is there a way to define the alerts on a monitor after the service has been created? It seems you have to delete and recreate it to change the alerts.

Actually here is hte deal... I inadvertantly added a two checks with the same name.. now I cant delete.. they both disappear but if I hit F5 they come back.

My apologies.. there is an ALERTS icon that you can click to configure the alerts... Is there a way to customize the interface in any way. My Graphs heading says "Label" would like to change it to read graph.. also when I click the icon for graph drivespace I get an error on the page.. but will display the other graphs I have up.

What version are you using?

I had 3.06 I upgraded last night but it still says I am running the older version... dowlnloading again right now.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled.. it still tells me I am on 3.0.6

I had to manually remove the folders and reinstall it.. there were 4 instances of s-server running in my task manager... that was probably the problem when I was doing the upgrade the file could not be replaced.. dont understand though I stopped the service.

Have you uninstalled the application? It seems that it did not correctly remove the previous.



Make a back-up of all .conf files and template (if you modified it). Uninstall and make sure the directory is removed

Install again and then copy your backed-up conf files back in the directory

Yes I was able to make that work.. I am now running the newer version.. much better.

Read that.. just generally confused on SNMP all together.. I have found a site mibdepot.com that lists tonos of OIDs... problem is when I walk to them I dont have them on my machine.. or I dont understand how to access an instance.. say it returns the C: drive capacity.. what about the second and third drives? Just looking for general information.
