Problem monitoring unix processes

Hi there!
I have a problem with monitoring some processes on hpux. As sample there is a process named "main". Serverscheck says that the process is not running (but it is running). By trying to check the process "mai" (there is no process named mai running), Serverscheck says "ok". On Linux I have no problems. Does anybody had same trouble?
