v12 upgrade

It's great that V12 is free now. But there's no documentation about upgrading for current users. The WIKI page hasn't been updated and still talks about .lic files, I'm on V11.0 and the check for updates tool says that it'll upgrade to 11.2. Downloading the latest version seems to want to install a new instance and it's not clear if previous settings/checks/history will be migrated.

Any help would be appreciated.
