Test alert works, real alerts do not work

Hello. First of all, the ServersCheck program has the potential to be a really great and useful tool, especially with the customizable SNMP checks. But, before I can sing it's praises, I have a couple problems.

I have installed serverscheck on 2 different computers (Win 2000 SP4 and WinXP SP1) and in each installation I have been unable to get the alerts to work. So far I have been only using the ICQ pager alert with a POP3 check, and set the alert to all down cycles. The test alert works properly. I am using ServersCheck 3.1.2. Also I do not get any status reports unless I first delete all of the DEMO checks and create a new check. Any idea what the problem could be?

    The issue has been resolved with the poster. ICQ messages failed when a "." (dot) was included in the alert message. We have written a work around for this and as such fixed it.



    The fix is included in the 3.1.3 release available for download from our site.
