Sensors testing via SNMP

Hi all.. I have been using the gateway and I/O sensor for several months now.. I was wondering though if there is a good method to test for connectivity between the gateway and the the I/O sensor? I can look for OK or TRIGGERED, but that would just give me the status of that particular Input.



Any suggestions?

    Since the connectivity between them is via a regular LAN cable plugged in to their respective RS232 interfaces, then you could just test them individually.

    What kind of test are you trying to do? Simple is it available or is it there and up?
