FAILED: Reset Appliance

Dear Serverscheck Team



you recommended us to reset our appliance. I tried to Reset the appliance like shown on: http://wiki.serverscheck.com/index.php/Appliance_Reset



But the appliance didnt get the Reset... Now I have a Bluescreen and can't use the appliance any more!



After RMA the appliance still works not fine and freezez every 5 to 8 days!

    If you can't reset the appliance, then you can request a RMA from http://www.serverscheck.com/support

    We got the appliance sinc Novembre 2012 and it worked still the first 3 months... We don't have any RMA waranty more... The appliance doesn't start the clonezilla any more....

    An out of warranty repair is still possible where we inspect it. A price is then made for the repair and if you chose to go ahead with the repair then the inspection fee is refunded from the repair costs.



    Alternatively if you don't want to do the repair, then you can move your configuration and transfer your license to a (virtual) server of your own.

    The problem is that the appliance was on RMA 2 months ago. It returned to us with the following information from your side:

    "The hardware on the unit was checked out and is within normal specs. However, i did find a rather large piece of dust in the fan that was causing the unit to shut off intermittently. After I removed this, the unit was fine. There was a little bit of corruption found in the registry, if we still have issues I would recommend an OS reload to fins any further issues."

    I am sure that there is any problem with the Hardware because I've tested the appliance again last week and it freezed again...

    As per inspection report no damage was found to the hardware based on the series of tests that were ran.



    You can request an out of warranty inspection from http://www.serverscheck.com/support/rma.asp



    During the inspection we will assess the problem and give a quote for the repair. If you agree with the repair, then the inspection fee is credited from the repair costs.
