Nonstop email alerts
From time to time we would get spammed by a monitor with email alerts even after the monitor is disabled or even deleted. Sometimes even restarting the serverscheck virtual machine won't fix it either. It's rather rare but really annoying when it happens. Any suggestions as to why this would happen? Thanks.

You can also check the serverscheck.conf file and if the deleted monitor's there, just manually remove it from there.
If they no longer appear in the list, then you can also simply stop/start the Monitoring Service
- did you check alert logs?
- did you stop and restart monitoring service for that deleted monitor?
It is quite confusing at this time if this topic is about non-stop email alerts about a check that has been deleted, or non-stop email alerts about a check that still exists, or non-stop email alerts and a delete check still being performed.
1) Remove current configuration of email alert settings and save
2) Restart ServersCheck services
3) Reapply configuration of email alert settings and save
4) Restart ServersCheck services
It seemed the monitor was fully active even though it was deleted from the UI and was not present in serverscheck.conf. It was also still included in group reporting days after it was deleted and brought down the availability figure for its whole group. Now the problem is fixed.
