Power sensor issues,SNMP on SensorGateway
Hi,
- we have two power sensors that despite being connected to the adapter that HAS power, always report a power failure problem. We have tried to connect them to two different gateways and the problem is the same, we also tried to change the adapters that go from the sensor to the power source, also with no positive result.
- on one gateway we have problems with SNMP - it seems that after two minutes after rebooting the device, SNMP stops responding (no response on SNMP queries). SNMP Traps work correctly and on other the same configured devices everything works, but on this sensor it simply doesn't no matter what we try. We also upgraded the firmware to the latest 3.03 - it's the latest HW with no success.
We need to get those issues solved as soon as possible.
Thank you!

The issue with SNMP "dying" after some time could be related to this old firmware on the device, but how about those two power sensors? We have tried them with different SensorGateways HW 4 and 5 that work normally, but didn't manage to get them working. They always report: "fail" for power.
Thanks!
We must use them and since they were bought about 6 months ago would like to return them for a warranty-check. They were connected and suddenly stopped working after one power failure and now they report FAILURE all the time.
Looking forward TO a quick response.
Thanks!
We have to solve it since we currently do not have a reliable power failure detection on 3 locations due to those failures.
If the defect is caused by electrical damage (surcharge, wrong power adapter, ...) then this is not covered by the warranty.
