Test email can’t be sent

I just took over this network that has a SC-TS01. I reset it to factory defaults because I did not know the password. I uploaded the newest firmware and then proceeded to setup. Trying to setup email notifications but every account I try to use will not send a test email. Used both a Gmail and an Office 365 account, every time I submit I get a "Test email can't be sent"



Does anyone have any idea why this is?

    Secure email (SSL) is not supported as per user manual

    We currently have a set-up here with email alerts. Please make sure the ports you are using are the correct ones for your email service provider.

    thank you, I setup a local smtp server that I could send out on and it worked.
