Power sensors not changing from OK

We recently purchased 5 hardware version release 4 sensor gateways with 3 power sensors. We have 2 power sensors on the older hardware version release 2 gateways. The power sensors operate normally with the serverscheck monitoring software 8.8.11 and 9.0.16, but the newer ones give a value of FAILED, but the status does not change to DOWN and send an email alert. The firmware version on the release 4 gateways is 2.07. What do I need to do to get the serverscheck monitoring software and the power sensors working correctly?

Additional info: The older version gateways give a valu of PWR OK and PWR FAIL when they are OK and DOWN respectively. The newer verision gateways and power sensors give a value of OK and FAIL when they are up and down. Is this what is causing the issue? Is the serverscheck monitoring software only looking for PWR FAIL to cause it to change to DOWN? How do I fix this?
