External check and parameters

Hi,



We have a *.batch file which performs a check and we need to give a folder path to it as a parameter.



Example:

check.bat nasfolder



If we try it that way, it doesn't work. ServersCheck gives an error saying that it can't locate the file.



Is it possible to give parameters in external checks?

As explained in the user manual, ServersCheck runs as a service and therefore not in the context of a user. You need to make sure that the batch file is located in the directory as explained in the wiki. It is a safe bet to put parameters inside the script/batch file
