Usage of Monitor FileContent

I have a problem checking the content of a file.



I know the file exists on the server. But when I reach step 4 and insert the path and press "Test Settings", every time I get an error:



"Status: DOWN?

Error returned: File(s) not found"



How does the ServersCheck check the file?



I tried inputting in 2 different formats for the filepath, like so:

  1. C:*filepath and filename*
  2. *servername*sharedfoldername**filename*


I can also mention that Monitor on FILE, also fails everytime.

    wildcards are not supported.

    In my input I don't use wildcards.I just used them above for explanation.



    I use, (example): C:folderfilename.txt

    Other method I tried (example): serversharedfolderfilename.txt

    I checked the servers services, and it is only running a "ServersCheck Windows Agent".



    Does that mean I can only Add Monitor, which are under "Cloud Computing" -> "WINDOWSAGENT"?
