monitoring_thread2.exe

I am on the newest 8.8.8 and having an issue with monitoring_thread2.exe taking up all available memory, currently at 1gb. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? I have uninstall/reinstalled and put monitoring in debug mode and don't really see much that would cause this.

    I assume you are using the Premium Edition.



    1GB is absolutely normal as it uses many different threads to perform the monitoring job.



    You can run it at half speed which will reduce the performance by reducing the threads.

    That is not what I have experienced in the past with the software. Why would it consume that much memory when there are not checks running? I paused every check, restarted the service and still the same results.
