ESXi 4.1 Support ?

Hi there,



i'm using release 8.8.0 to monitor our farm here, also there is an ESXi 4.1.

When i use VMWARE-HOSTHEALTH to create a new monitor this fails with "TEST - DOWN? - Hardware VMWare Error".



debug.txt does not show anything that may help. The machine itself is running without problems. Even though the test fails, when i take a look at the report i can see all 6 started VMs.



As its not clearly written, does release 8.8.0 only support ESX 3.x or also 4 ?

    VMware is reporting that a hardware component is failing. You should be able to see that in your VMWare vCenter

    The only component that shows a warning is that there is no power supply redundancy. But should not cause a Down State, because every thing else is running.

    As soon as the hardware state of the VMWare platform is not GREEN, then it will trigger an alert.
