Duplicate MAC Address

I keep on getting an error message when trying to add a new particular device:



"Error: a duplicate device has been found with the same MAC address as for the device you want to add.

MAC address 00:15:5D:B4:xx:xx is already defined for qsc-print"



I have to manually go in there and change the device to the correct MAC address to get Windows Check working. Any suggestions on why it is doing this?



Currently using trial version 8.8

You can manually add a Windows type of check but simply clicking on the ADD MONITOR button instead of adding a device (All Monitors View)

Doesn't matter - you don't need to MAC address



Let's say you do a WINDOWSHEALTH check, click on ADD MONITOR (not ADD DEVICE) - select the check type - go to the next 2 dialog boxes and fill in the IP address.



A check does NOT have to be linked to a device. It may be linked to one but doesn't have to.
