Email Alerts

we have installed the software in the server as requested by the client. nevertheless, we were not able to send alerts via email. There is an antivirus software (Norton) running in the server. The client doesnt want to remove the antivirus. is there any other way we can work it out? please advise...thanks!!

    The AV software is blocking outgoing mails. They will need to contact Norton to solve the issue if they persist on having it.



    Best way to prove the AV is the culprit is to disable and then try it. If it sends out the email alert, then you have proven that the AV software is blocking the email alerts.
