SMTP email alert header settings

Is there a way to disable the headers sent in an SMTP email alert?

I have the SMTP sending an email text alert to my cell phone and the carrier only allows for 255 characters in a text message. The problem is that the following headers are part of the message.

x-MSMail-Priorty: High
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain;chasrset=us-ascii

Unfortunately the headers are fixed and can not be disabled.



You could write your smtp mailer and use the application execution on alert option to have a notification sent the way you want.



Another option is to use the ClickAtell service.
