Default start page options are blank

When I click on the "Default Start Page" link under general settings, all I get is "save settings" with nothing to configure. Is this correct?
It just seems odd to have the option without anything to change. The reason I ask is b/c the default start page has issues and I was looking to see if I could change some settings...
