upgrade license file NOT working

simsyssimsys
Hello

I just did the upgrade from 8.0.9 to 8.1.0

after the installation I requested and received a new lic-file.

However, when I copy this file in the lic folder, I still get the following message: "This freeware version is intended for evaluation or for limited use. Limited to 10 monitors."

Suggestions?

What is the license key and are you using it on a different hardware? Appliance license keys only work on the appliance

I got the upgrade license file for the ServersCheck Monitoring Software 8.1.x from the support site. After logging in, I used the link: Request a new license key for the latest BUSINESS100 8.1.0 version. The Hardware is the same.

You need to install the license key in the /lic subfolder.

Stop the ServersCheck Web Server service

Double click on the s-server .exe and copy paste the last section of data sent to the screen

Stopped all services and double clicked om s-server.exe.

    This are the last lines:

Please contact sales for a new license key as it may be corrupt. A license key only works for the version it has been issued for.
