Page Cannot be Displayed

JennaJenna
We recently had a pretty bad power outage and I am having trouble bringing up the serverscheck website. I keeping getting a page cannot be displayed. Not sure how it would link up to that. Thinking maybe a repair would work? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Jenna

What product do you own? An appliance or the software installed on your system?

If the appliance, then what do you get as a message when you start it up and have monitor and keyboard connected to it
  • JennaJenna
We have the appliance and I don't get any weird messages when I start it up. When I click to open serverscheck I get the page connot be displayed error because it cannot find the server.

    Thanks!

Do you have anything installed on the Appliance (like Antivirus software or so)?

    Can you do the following:

    1) Stop the ServersCheck web server service

    2) Double click on the s-server.exe in your D:Program FilesServersCheck directory

    3) Copy the output sent once it started running

We did but uninstalled a few weeks ago because of memory issues. Here is the ouput

The web server seems to be OK. When you try "http://localhost:1272" -> you get page not found, correct? If so, then do you have a firewall on it enabled. Something seems to be blocking port 1272. This isn't the case when the software is shipped but it could be that you have installed something or done some settings blocking it.

Nothing has changed - All was working good until the power outage that happened on March 1st. Is it ok to do a system restore? I can't go back to the March 31st but I can go to March 16th
  • AdministratorAdministrator
You could try that. The message indicates that the webserver is running on port 1272.

I did a restore and site would still not come up I somehow got to the config screen, went through all those steps, then did a restart and now it appears to be working. Will let you know if it starts to act up. Thank you for all of your help!
