How to monitor oracle?

I just want to know how to monitor a SAP Oracle Database system. What ..

1. What Database check we need to choose

2. What Database Template

3. What is the connection string.

Depends on your Oracle version but easiest would be the ODBC check type to check a connection, then you could also use the other ODBC checks depending to what level of granularity you wish to monitor.

we are using ORACLE ODBC check to DB.



It was necessary to instal ORA client first and then to make ODBC test.

Do we need any configuration in our OS?
