Computer Freezes

So I DLd and installed the latest version of Serverscheck two days ago and now my computer completely freezes about two minutes after I log in. I'm running XP Pro SP3, and when I log into my computer everything begins to work fine but then it slowly begins to grind to a halt. After about two minutes the only thing that is working is the mouse - it moves - but nothing else is responsive. There is no hard drive activity at all that I can tell, but nothing else works. CTRL-ALT-DEL is non-responsive, keyboard is non-responsive, mouse clicks are non-responsive. The only thing that works is the power button.

I tried to get into safe mode so I could disable the Serverscheck files and services but the computer automatically reboots itself after one minute each and every time.

I have tried to remotely access the services on the aforementioned box but cannot get to them in time (before the computer becomes unresponsive).

I need suggestions please.

Is ServersCheck running on a dedicated system without Antivirus running? What edition of the software are you running (Business, Premium,...)?

In respect to the issue it is most probably either an OS issue or an AV issue. ServersCheck doens't take 100% of resources. Something else is blocking your system

It was installed on a system with AV. I've tried to get in and turn off the AV before everything freezes but I have not been able to do so.

I downloaded the 21-day trial version listed on the website and do not know if it is Business or Premium.

AV has caused false positives in the past (not only with our software) resulted in system problems.

I would recommend contacting MS support to get it running in Safe mode or to contact your system administrator who might be familiar with the Windows platform

I agree that the false positives are the cause of this problem. Can you tell me what Serverscheck services I need to stop/disable to prevent these false positives (ie, how do I stop Serverscheck)?

You need to stop your AV software, the AV software is the issue.

May I kindly suggest that you contact your AV software maker and as them to fix their software so that you can continue using the monitoring software you purchased from us.
