Replacement modem still wont work
I received my new replacement modem and cannot seem to get it to work either.
I have had this device for several months and have never gotten it to work! Very frustrated
I am getting a error message after installation of the modem that states:
There was a problem installign the hardware Mobile Connector
The data is invalid
I am also unable to open the device manager on the unit

Which replacement modem are you talking about? Falcom or Zoom? Have you followed the instructions manual for configuring the zoom modem on the appliance?
I have a USB Modem from Verizon, will that work on the appliance?
Did you follow the instructions of installing the Zoom modem from the manual? If so at which page are you getting an error.
If you are familiar with the Windows command prompt, then you can also type following command to launch the device maanger:
devmgmt.msc
The Zoom modem could then be installed as per manual instructions and text messages were received. Issue resolved; modem is now working as confirmed by customer.
