Appliance Restore Factory Setting

Hi.. does anyone know how to do restore factory setting on the appliance? The purpose is to deploy the device into the new department.. We wanted to be deploy as a brand new device.

    To reset the monitoring, you need to delete following:

    - delete all log files in the /logging subdirectory

    - delete all RRD files in the c:/serverscheck_databases

    - delete all the graphs in the /output/graphs subdirectory

    - delete all lines from the serverscheck.conf file AFTER line 5



    This will have most data related to your previous install removed.

    Hi.. thanks for the info.. but is there any way to restore the windows xp ?

    No that is not possible since it is Windows XP Embedded running and not a regular Windows XP.



    As per license agreement, no 3rd party software may be installed on the box. As such there shouldn't be a reason as to why reinstall XP since no other software except the preinstalled one is on there.
