    fkhateeb,

What error are you specifically getting? Are you getting an Access Denied with numbers behind it or just a generic Access Denied error?

Don't forget to include the domain name in the login credentials. (like domainnameusername)

Access Denied is received through the Windows OS by our Monitoring Software will trying to connect to a remote host to query for data. The querying is done through the WMI protocol which uses the underlying RPC and DCOM protocols.

It can be protocol related and not just a matter of credentials. For example firewalls in between (or local) the monitoring station and remote host can result in such errors.

If the remote system is a PDC, then it won't work due to a limitation in Microsoft's capabilities of remotely monitoring PDC's.

In this forum can find some articles related to Access Denied that might guide you further to nailing down your specific issue.

There is a WMI testing tool from Microsoft that you can get from their site. If that one works, then it is a pure credentials issue and more than probably the user settings for the Monitoring and Webserver services.
