Monitoring via Internet

Hi

I am trying to monitor a SBS 2003 Server via the internet. I can confirm that ports 139,135 and 445 are open and forwarded on th e router to the said server. I can also confirm that I get the required DRIVESPACE monitoring information when I VPN in to the Server.



When adding a DRIVESPACE monitor, I insert the dyndns.org IP address and the computer Name (Server01), when testing the connection I get RPC service unavailable. As mentioned VPN connected it all works, Internet connection nothing. Any ideas

Please note that depending on your configuration, the remote host's RPC dynamic port allocation will instruct the RPC program to use a particular random port above 1024.
