SMTP alerts sending every second

[Deleted User][Deleted User]
Hi,

Wonder if you can help, our SMTP alerts are firing every second and not the 60 seconds as defined in the rule.

Extract from the config file:

SMTPPOP3|X|alert-name removed|X|60|X|60|X||X||X||X|true|X|true|X|lt|X|300|X||X||X||X|smtp server<X><X><X>serverscheck@removed<X>to@removed<X>removed<X>removed<X>removed<X><X>|X||X|98|X|yes|X|60|X||X||X|On each status change|X||X||X|30|X|ServerRoomGroup|X||X|<X>|X||X|yes|X|<X><X><X>|X|<X><X>|X||X||X|yes|X||X||X|yes|X|ServerRoom

But looking in our SMTPP logs, all our smtp rules are firing every second.

    When posting a new message to the forum, then indicate the version and edition you are using. Often a reported problem has been resolved in a recent release.

    No problem - 7.13.3

    Check with latest release to see if the issue still persists as 7.13.3 is not the most recent release

    What you also can do is following: stop the monitoring service and run it in debug mode as per knowledge base. Before that stop all monitors and then you can see effectively how often it performs the monitor.

    Even though I stopped the services, it continues to send mail - task manager did list a number of the servercheck applications.

    I have requested the new licenses, but they have not come through yet. When they do, I will do the upgrade.

    I will do the debug in the mean time.

    I have the log file from the monitoring manager that is sending smtp traces every second. As this has detailed information in, how do I get it to you?
