Registry issues

CheckGuyCheckGuy
Verstion 7.13.2

1. The ServersCheck service runs in an Active Directory. Testing servers within the same domain works (see point 2 for another problem). However, when testing a machine in a workgroup the software always returns a DOWN status (testing the existance of a key or a value). The credentials are defined as workgroupuser. The user has admin rights on the remote machine.

2. REG_DWORD do no work when testing for a value. REG_SZ do work

    1. What is the error message for the DOWN status

    2. That is correct. The registry check does not yet support REG_DWORD

    The testing Settings:

    The check has been performed.

    Status: DOWN?

Error returned: Registry key not found

Define credentials as user without workgroup. Make sure that the admin account on the workgroup is the same as that one for the domain.

I cannot set the admin on the workgroup to be the same as the domain.

I tried to create a new user on both the domain and workgroup (admin rights)

I now get the following error:

Error returned: ERROR: 1219 - Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.
