Update to 7.12.2

Dear Support



I´ve tried to update SC 7.10.3 to 7.12.2 and some strange things happened. Setup Routine was completed succesfully and the files were changed but the Version shown was still 7.10.3. In Addition the ne lic file didnt work and i had to use the old one.



Are there some known Problems for the update?

    Based on what you say not all components have been upgraded. You need to make sure that nothing is in use when upgrading (all ServersCheck services have to be stopped).



    Follow the manual upgrade procedure as per knowledge base:

    Thanks for the advice. Indeed it did work ... i just tried to install everything over the old one ...



    Maybe an enhancement Idea for the next version would be an automatic updater or something else in that direction :-)

    There is one. Go to Start > Programs > ServersCheck > Monitoring Software > Upgrade



    It is the upgrade.exe in your main ServersCheck directory
